Microsoft in the Classroom (MIC) is designed to be a K-12 education specific experiential engagement with school leaders and other influential decision-makers in schools and institutions to introduce them to Windows and education devices.
The program’s intent is to introduce schools to the latest Windows devices and tablets and drive preference for Microsoft in the classroom. Microsoft in the Classroom is not designed to be professional development or teacher training.
Session 1: Enabling the right environment for better learning outcomes: Learn how to create the right learning environment for all types of learners. With Windows 10 tools and services such as Teams, OneNote, Learning Tools, students can become immersed in a digital world that truly supports their learning and helps all students achieve more.
Session 2: Modern Classroom Collaboration: Collaboration skills ranks high on the lists of 21st Century requirements in schools and business. Learn how with Teams, OneNote Class Notebook, and Office 365, however, collaboration can happen across schools, at any time - in real time.
Session 3: Unlocking Creativity in each student: Students should be given an environment in which they can work and learn naturally through multiple modalities. Maker education, design thinking, and problem-based learning provide an environment in which students of all abilities can innovate, solve real problems, and engage in content in new ways using Minecraft: Education Edition, Cracking STEM, MakeCode, Office 365 accessibility tools, Paint 3D.

- Computer Basics-this course introduces you to the fundamentals of computing, explains the components of a computer, explores operating system basics, and shows you how to use a mouse and a keyboard.
- The Internet and Cloud services-This course shows you how to connect to the Internet, browse Web pages, navigate Web sites, use search engines, and exchange e-mail with others.
- Productivity Applications-The course teaches you how to choose the right software for your project. You will learn the fundamentals of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databases.
- Digital Lifestyles-This course introduces you to new digital technologies, including digital audio, digital video, and digital photography. It explores how these and other computing technologies are creating new career opportunities and shaping the world we live in.
